Good Apple

A good friend sent me this email. I had forgotten all about this until Tita Cacof told me about this earlier today. We were talking about boys and relationships and how I am still searching for the "right guy". Tita, Don't worry. I know he will come. Someday. I just have to wait. Patiently. =)

Women are like apples on trees.

The best ones are at the top of the tree. 

The men don't want to reach for the good ones

because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.

Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground

that aren't as good, but easy.

So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them,  

when in reality, THEY'RE amazing. 

They just have to wait for the right man to come along,

the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to

the top of the tree.

YOU'RE A GOOD APPLE.

  • i believe that everyday, there is one person (not necessarily the same one) who looks at your tree and aims to pick the reddest and shiniest of the apples. it's only that person doesn't want to climb the great tree since he doesn't know how to climb at all. or at least think that the sweetest apple around might not be too good for him. unfortunately, for the apple, it can't do anything for it's helpless and can only show its exterior. hope that the season will not let the most amazing apple just fall into the ground and picked up by any bypassers who will just taste it and throw the rest afterwards...
