Nothing much goin on here. Kriss and I are in Eastwood for our tech review buddy up but it was cancelled because of the queue. Ahh! I wanna go back to Makati. Duh..Napapanis na laway ko at wala akong kausap! Queueing pa! kainis...

Anyways, I just made a few minor changes on my blog. I've added a few links on the right. Im also working out on a new photoblog. I really haven't added anything yet as I am still working on the template and the pictures and all those stuff.

I was browsing through my flickr photos when I saw this link for amateur photographers. Circle of Photographers gives good advise on taking photos and how to get started in professional photography! Plus you can submit your pictures to them and it can get published! But..naah..i dont think im good enough to submit my own. I still need a lot of practice. Anyways, here are their ten golden rules:
1. Move in closer
2. Be quick
3. Compose with care
4. Be selective
5. Focus on your subject
6. Experiment in time
7. Look at the light
8. Watch the weather
9. Keep it simple
10. Be bold

Ah! Ang guwapo talaga ni Tom Welling. Wala lang...Nanuod kasi ako kanina ng disc 4 ng Season 3 ng Smallville. Tatlong episodes yun at 45 minutes isa. Yun lang ginawa ko kaninang madaling araw.. Sa dvd na lang ako nakakanuod, erratic kasi ang schedule ko... Pero ok na din ang dvd at least nauulit ulit ko. Yun lang. Haayy...ang cute nya!

Another Saturday has come by and gone..

After getting off work at around 7 am in the morning. Con, Kriss and I headed off to Starbucks to get our dose of caffeine and keep us awake for our 8am-2pm CISCO class. Then we walked towards MITC. We officially started our classes today. Module 1 was discussed then we had the online test. It was a little boring. Anyways, that was expected since CISCO 1 is basically just about the basics of computer and networking. And here we go again..converting boolean and hexadecimals and binary numbers and understanding IP Addresses. Yuck! And I thought I was officially over it. HeHe..who said I loved math? I was distracted and bored during the discussion. Kriss was telling me about Calvin and Hobbes and I was browsing the internet and she was showing me the comic strip. Now I understand why she loved it. He is funny! Oops! problem is..somewhere along our mindless chatter, I totally lost what our professor was talking about.

Anyways, good thing we were familiar with the topic today. We have learned about it in college and in our A+ and MCDST certification so even though we didn't really paid attention, the test was a breeze! It was timed for an hour but we finished it in about 15 minutes. The three of us passed and we just spent the rest of the hour talking. Now remind me to keep quiet and stay in the front next Saturday cause definitely the next modules will be more complicated than today.

Since we were dismissed early today, I was looking for something to do with the rest of my Saturday afternoon because if I go home then I will definitely just fall asleep. I was thinking of watching a movie so I texted some of my friends. Nada. Everybody had other plans! Too bad.

Kriss asked me to accompany her to Glorietta so she could get herself new contact lenses as she could not reading anything from the board from where we were seated earlier. So I went with her, helped her find a pair and then we went to National Bookstore to look for Cisco books. It's always out of stock. We might just end up photocopying Justin's book. Hehe

Oh! One more thing, I saw a lot of digital photography books! They're all good! But it's sooo pricely....Nothing below 1,000 pesos! Hmmp! Wait wait wait...I gotta find a way to check those out. I might hang out at PowerBooks next week and read. Haha..tutal di naman bawal mag browse dun!

Anyways, Kriss had to go and I needed to buy some stuff at Watson's so we went our own way. After getting the stuff I need, I reluctantly headed off to the MRT so I can go home..Haay..

I probably arrived around 4pm. I slept and I set my alarm so I can wake up at 7pm but I didn't know what happened! The alarm did not go off ! Or I probably ignored it and went back to dreamland! haha..

So there. I woke up at about 3am. And I was thinking...What am i gonna do at this hour?? Haay...Back to my same old routine. I rummaged through our fridge as I was terribly hungry, went online, and watched dvds!

I got a text message from Kriss at about 6:30 am. She said she just woke up! Hehe..I was not alone. =)

Pictures from the Church

While waiting for the Baptismal rites to start, I took some pictures inside the church.

I saw this angel at the far end of the church. Look at its arms. They are missing. Looks like this angel has seen better days. It looks forlorn and forgotten in the dark corner..

How my weekend went...

Last Saturday was the first day of our cisco class. There are four of us in the team who decided to take it up. Con, Kriss, Aldin and I. Classes starts 2 hours after our shift and boy, was i so sleepy. We were a little late because after our shift ended, we were asked to stay and take in one call each as the queue needs it. We were supposed to eat at Jollibee first but we didn't have much time left when we left the office so Con and I just grabbed something to eat at 7 Eleven and ate it while we walked towards the Mapua IT Center. Nothing really much exciting happened, except that I can't believe Im back at school! The class was boring as we just introduced ourselves and the curriculum was discussed. I didnt really pay attention as I was busy surfing the web and we cannot really hear him much near the back of the room. I think the class will be split as they were not expecting that many people to enroll. There were about 30 plus of us in there. The college students called us ate, oh i mean they called Kriss Ate! haha..that was something different. Im used to being younger than my classmates. Hmm..this is new..
And then..just before going home. I went to Grand Central and decided to have a facial. Based on the amount of blackheads she got from my face, I think I should do it more often!

When I got home, mom told me our dog Ackie gave birth! We never even knew she was pregnant in the first place! She was not even a year old....According to Ate Irene, Goofy raped her! Oh my. They heard Ackie and Goofy barking outside. Turns out Ackie gave birth and the pup was underneath the car. Mom said she though it was a mouse because it was so small and slimy..good thing she did not hit it or did anything drastic. Haha. I wonder how the puppy will look like. I dont even know what their breeds are! Check this out:

Speaking of young moms...I again became a ninang last Sunday. It was the christening of my cousin Praise's firstborn daughter and her first birthday. It was held in Binondo church. Hmmm..she's now my 6th god child and all of them are first borns! Haay...life's moving on so fast! almost all my friends have kids now.

Oh no...please don't cry

Then we went to Novaliches to celebrate my Tito Romy's birthday. All my cousins were there. It was so much fun! Hmm..i think we got home around midnight. I was dead tired and slept as soon as I hit the pillow.

Alright, so here’s my feeble attempt on photography. Can’t help but click away especially on a beautiful place like Baguio! =)

Weekend in Baguio Day 2

On our second day, Kriss, Con and Just woke up early and went to the market, Pink Sister's Convent and Good Sheperd to buy pasalubongs. I was not able to go with them because they said I was soundly sleeping and snoring happily. Haay..Sayang! The rest of us who were left at home watched Bring it on Again. Then after everybody were finished taking a bath, we went downtown and ate in Cafe by the Ruins. Then we spent the day checking out the parks and scenery around. We didn't have our own car so the taxi was our main source of transportation. You'll enjoy riding cabs here because the meter is way way low than in Manila! Plus they give out change! That would be a miracle with cabs here in the metro. BUT, as always, the big question for the day would be who will pay for the cab. Haha. Lagi kami nagtuturuan..

Our last night. Red wine and a chilly night. Good combination for great conversations. And again, what happens in Baguio stays in Baguio. Haha, by the end of the night. Everybody was soundly sleeping in front of the fireplace.
